Credit card processing fees are the biggest part of your monthly merchant processing bill. When a customer pays you with VPS, there is no processing fee to you. If you accept just $10,000 per month in credit card payments, you'll save about $3,900 per year in processing fees alone - that's 94% savings.

Up to 94%?

Credit card processing fees represent the lion's share of expense when accepting payment cards. With VPS, you don't pay for processing fees.  If you accept just $10,000 per month, you cut the total cost of accepting credit cards (assuming industry average rates, monthly and anual charges) from $4,170 to just $270.  That's $3,900 in annual savings. If you process more than $10,000 per month, you save even more.

How We Do It

vps-details-courtesy.pngThe VPS  portal charges a courtesy fee to customers when they make a payment. VPS pays all the processing fees on payments made to you.

Under credit card Merchant Agreements you are not allowed to charge a different price if a customer uses a credit card. You, the merchant, are not allowed to charge a fee for accepting credit card payments. Since VPS is a third party, providing an online payment service to allow customers to pay you, VPS is allowed to charge a fee to your customers for using our payment portal service. It's that simple.

Many organizations ranging from small businesses to global enterprises use third party payment solutions like VPS including major colleges and universities, utilities like your local gas, water and electric company, and government agencies at the local, state and Federal level.

What's the Catch?

When it comes to saving money, there is no catch. Not all businesses qualify for VPS service:

  • Today, VPS can't be used for retailers that swipe credit cards at a cash register.

  • All payments must be made through an Internet based VPS payment portal.

  • You have to meet the same credit standards required to get a traditional merchant account.

  • You must have a history of high levels of customer satisfaction and if you currently accept credit card payments, you must have a history low chargebacks.
